January 2009 marked the fifth anniversary since Sebastian’s Action Trust was established to fulfil Sebastian’s vision of helping children facing serious illnesses. To mark this special anniversary the Trust team has launched Give Us Five – a series of events and initiatives based around the number five which will run throughout the year, and which we hope will help us towards raising a new target of another £500,000. This sum will provide the remaining funds needed to build and furnish the house and give the Trust a reserve to see the holiday house through its first two years.

We know how much the families we work with are looking forward to the house being built, and just how much difference a stay there will make to them. By contributing to the Give Us Five scheme you will be helping us to bring this amazing house, and the relief it will offer, to families as quickly as possible. By taking part in this scheme and emailing it to your friends you will be helping the Trust to reach a new audience. We hope that even in the current
economic climate you and your friends will feel able to donate £5 – whatever you can afford would be hugely appreciated.
